Leaving Yamphudin, the journey kicks off with a challenging climb through dense, mossy oak, bamboo, and rhododendron forests toward Lasiya Bhanjyang (3,310m). From the top of the pass, the trail drops steeply through thick timberland into the deep valley carved by the Simbua River. After a long day of dramatic elevation changes, you’ll reach Torongding. A peaceful, forested clearing nestled right along the river basin.

The leg from Torongding to Cheram (Tseram) is one of the most gradual and scenic stretches of the Kanchenjunga South Circuit trek. Leaving the dense valley behind, you climb steadily alongside the roaring Simbua Khola River as the forest thins into dramatic alpine terrain

Day 10: Trek to Zerokilo and Drive to Taplejung Bazaar
